Waukesha, Wisconsin – October 9th, 2025 – KDV Label participated in the Waukesha County Business Alliance’s Experience the Trades event as a cornerstone activity in continuing their celebration of National Manufacturing Month.

This event brought together students from across Waukesha County to explore hands-on career opportunities in the construction and manufacturing industries. Local manufacturers, contractors, sub-contractors, colleges and universities, and trade organizations gathered to showcase career opportunities with hands-on activities.

KDV Label’s team provided attendees with an interactive look at the label manufacturing process, helping students understand how creativity, technology, and precision come together to produce the packaging solutions found on store shelves every day.

“Events like this are an incredible opportunity to connect with the next generation of skilled talent,” said Marlo Wendlick, KDV Label’s Director of Human Resources. “At KDV, we take pride in showing students that manufacturing is not just about machinery- it is about innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork.”

A highlight of KDV’s booth was a hand-cranked die provided by Rotometrics, allowing students to experience firsthand the process of die-cutting labels. The engaging demonstration offered a tangible way to showcase the craftsmanship and technology that power KDV’s daily operations. KDV Label’s participation underscored the company’s commitment to supporting workforce development and raising awareness about rewarding careers in the manufacturing and printing industries.

The Experience the Trades event exemplified how community partnerships can inspire future generations to pursue fulfilling careers in Wisconsin’s strong manufacturing and construction sectors.
