Leading with Service
Since 1974

Karen and Dick Vaughn. Our founders and namesake will forever be at the heart of our brand, by name and principles. They built KDV Label as reliable, trustworthy, and straightforward by focusing on the best interest of their customers and employees. They made it KDV’s mission to help maximize each person’s and each brand’s value.

Because we are focused on maximizing the value of your brand, we naturally and obsessively serve your needs. This is how KDV has become a leader in the label industry – we have been LEADING WITH SERVICE SINCE 1974, and promise to continue that tradition.

Our Core Values

Focus on Service
Since the Very Beginning

Dick and Karen Vaughn founded KDV Label in their garage. We often still hear them reminisce about juggling a household full of kids, Karen’s nursing career, and growing this new venture.

From that humble beginning, quality, consistency, and performance built the reputation that remains with KDV today. And they were doing something right because, in just a few years, those long days led to outgrowing the garage and moving KDV to a new home on Main Street in Waukesha.

With additional space and experience, KDV had found a niche in the Dairy industry and soon began shipping product as far south as Arkansas and out to customers along the East Coast. During this time, KDV was sticking to the fundamentals of the business and consistency and persistence were being rewarded with more business from new and existing customers.

Growth continued through the 80s and into the 90s, putting KDV on the Top 100 US Label Manufacturers list, as well as requiring more presses, staff, and space. As KDV scaled to meet customer needs, the second generation of Vaughn family joined the company and took leadership roles carrying on a strong tradition of quality and service

Today. with production facilities in Waukesha, Wisconsin; Loveland, Colorado; and Sugar Grove, Illinois. We continue to lead with service carrying on the legacy left by Dick and Karen and maintaining the strong reputation for quality, consistency, and performance that they established from the very beginning.
