As an Ink Technician, the team and our customers rely on you to mix inks and ensure matches for jobs as orders are scheduled. Our Ink Technicians have all inks ready and take them to the Press when jobs are scheduled to run.

1st Shift > 6:00AM – 2:15PM
PAY
$18.00/hour

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks in a productive, efficient and safe manner
- Follow appropriate quality control and inspection process
- Assist with maintaining the work off ink process by regulating use and storage
- Assist in the ordering process by reviewing the schedule to predict ink usage and identify any special orders (solvent inks, blends, and coatings)
- Properly store incoming inks, including removing 55-gallon drums from pallets
- Ensure the office, equipment, and floors are cleaned and properly maintained
- Review suitability of press returns ink for recycle
- Restocking of inks to appropriate shelves
- Perform ink estimating for jobs going to press
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to handle physical workload on average 10 – 60 pounds
- Ability to push 100 pound ink barrels onto hand cart
- Ability to push ink carts, occasionally up to 450 pounds
- Basic math skills required
- Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge required
- Ability to visually distinguish colors required.
- Previous experience a plus!
