For almost 50 years, KDV has refined and expanded our flexographic printing operations, developing a highly efficient pit-crew approach to running our presses. As KDV continues to grow, we are looking for craftsman, crew chiefs to take lead on each press. Your duties will also include pre- and post-press quality checks. While coordinating the smooth operations of your press, you will continue to build and hone your craft with unique label runs and opportunities for additional training.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Operate 6 to 7 color water base narrow web flexo press
- Put your knowledge of anilox roll selections to work and run anything from simple line work to 4 color process, solid / screen work in same plate
- Adjust inks to match special colors
- Work closely with turret operator at the press, ensuring label quality
- Mount own plates
QUALIFICATIONS
- Physical workload on average 40lbs, maximum weight 75lbs
- Multi-tasking, and understanding all inputs of the press operation is critical.
- Mathematical Development: Add, subtract, multiply, divide, ability to convert decimals and fractions
- Good and regular attendance
- Must demonstrate a good safety record
